City of Hope is off to the races

5/22/2018
City of Hope’s Hardware and Homebuilding Industry fundraising efforts have so far this year generated more than $2.7 million for the California-based Cancer research and disease treatment center.

The total donations are certain to swell as the industry fundraising group enters a heavy season of events, including a first-ever event at the historic Santa Anita Race Track. Upcoming events include:

June 23 HHI Day at the Races.
• The inaugural HHI Day at the Races will be hosted by The Home Depot and Signature Retail Services at the newly renovated Santa Anita Race Track in Southern California. An intimate group of 100-120 guests are expected to participate.

• June 7, HD Supply Golf Outing at Lake Oconee
More than 300 City of Hope supporters are expected to attend this event at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee in Georgia. In addition to golf, the outing includes a cocktail reception, silent auction and dinner/awards program that evening.

• Sept. 24, Midwest Golf Outing
Hosted by Home Depot, this golf outing and fundraiser returns to Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Chicago, Ill.

Earlier this month, the 18th Annual Shootout at Bighorn attracted 400 golfers and raised just under $1 million for City of Hope.
