Elevation Rail from Barrette Outdoor Living

Barrette Outdoor Living, a division of Oldcastle APG, has expanded its line of premium railing products to include Elevation Rail — an innovative horizontal cable railing system.

According to Barrette Outdoor Living, the system can be installed 38% faster than the leading competition with fewer SKUs needed.

Elevation Rail is available as pre-assembled kits with pre-installed brackets and pre-strung, stainless-steel cables.

The new system features Barrette Outdoor Living’s patent-pending OneTen built-in centralized tensioning system — a unique mechanism in the industry.

The OneTen system eliminates the need to tension each cable individually and decreases the need for seasonal adjustments.

With its modern, industrial design, Elevation Rail offers a continuous top rail for both stair and level applications. 

Its adjustable panels that span up to 6’ wide enable the railing to be installed indoors or outdoors without obstructing views. There are no special tools or fasteners required to install Elevation Rail.

“This new system saves contractors considerable time on installation and makes traditionally challenging DIY projects much easier for homeowners,” said Patrick Ianni, director of product management at Barrette Outdoor Living. “This product is a game changer. We really pushed the envelope to ensure a unique offering in the marketplace.”

Barrette Outdoor Living plans to offer Elevation Rail to its network of dealers starting in January 2023, with a launch in the retail market shortly following, the company said.
