The inaugural Emery Jensen Distribution show
Emery-Waterhouse was founded in 1842. Jensen Distribution Services dates back to 1883. But a Boston trade show in late January was the first ever for the combined Emery Jensen Distribution.
"Customers, vendors, representative groups and employees took part in a weeks’ worth of activities, all focused on one goal: setting ourselves up for future success and the spring selling season," said Dan Pendergast, VP of merchandising.
A second event will swing to the West Coast -- Anaheim, Calif. -- in the fall.
Emery-Waterhouse and Jensen Distribution were acquired by Ace Hardware Corp. in 2014, and 2015, respectively.
