Boise Cascade reports departure of Western Region VP

Boise Cascade announced today that Frank Elfering, vice president and general manager of Western Region Operations for the company’s Building Materials Distribution (BMD) division, has elected to leave, effective April 30.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Frank for his 22 years of dedicated service, which has contributed to strengthening industry relationships and achieving strategic growth in our distribution footprint,” said Nate Jorgensen, CEO of Boise Cascade. “We send best wishes to Frank and his family as they embark on new adventures.”

Elfering joined the Company in 1998 as a product manager and accepted increasing leadership roles in the areas of sales, marketing, and purchasing within BMD. He was named a vice president in 2013.
