Beacon acquires Crabtree Siding & Supply

The Tennessee-based exterior building products distributor brings nearly $1 million in sales.

Beacon, the roofing and exterior building products distributor, has begun the new year with the acquisition of Crabtree Siding and Supply.

Announced on Dec. 31, the move was effective Jan. 1. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Crabtree is a wholesale distributor of residential exterior building materials, including a broad offering of complementary products, to contractors and homebuilder customers. The company has annual sales of approximately $1 million. 

According to Beacon, Crabtree’s Cookeville, Tenn. location is ideal and strategically located in the growing market between Nashville and Knoxville.

Based in Herndon, Va., Beacon operates more than 400 locations in the United States and Canada.
