WOLF expands its Builders Mark line
WOLF Home Products is building up its Builders Mark line of cabinets with the addition of a Painted White finish and the expansion of the line's service area.
Citing rising demand for the value-priced line, WOLF said that the new finish would be available in 28 states in the East, Mid-West and South.
The new Painted White finish will be the fourth among three existing colors in the Builders Mark line, added in response to market demand and dealer requests.
All four finishes will be available in the original Builders Mark service area, which includes 11 Southern states.
The cabinet line touts standard WOLF features like a durable finish, flexibility in order volumes, fast shipping and U.S.-made construction.
A new Storm-Lite Window from Hy-Lite
Hy-Lite is introducing a new Storm-Lite window to its Bath-Lite series, which features Storm-Lite's characteristic impact-resistant silkscreened glass.
"This durable window features a one-inch insulated unit with an annealed, laminated exterior glass to resist impact from flying debris," says Roger Murphy, president of Hy-Lite. "There's also tempered glass on the interior of each unit for enhanced safety, privacy and decorative style."
The window, which comes in a 4' x 4' size, comes in Hy-Lite's popular Aurora design and can be used in bathroom, living room and dining room applications.
The Storm-Lite window is also certified to AAMA 506-06 specifications for Hurricane Impact and Cycle Testing, and it has a Design Pressure Rating of DP50 for winds up to 160 mph in Wind Zone 4.
"We created the Bath-Lite Series to give builders, remodelers and homeowners a cost-effective option for a privacy window that is more imaginative than simple frosted glass or rain glass," says Murphy. "These windows provide elegance in the home without breaking the budget. They have all the terrific features of decorative glass windows while boasting a value-added price tag."
The Storm-Lite window is also reinforced with heavy-duty vinyl frames available in white, tan, driftwood and bronze.
Milwaukee introduces Hammer Tacker
Milwaukee Tool has added a new Hammer Tacker to its expanding product lineup, one the company says can deliver three times the life of competing products.
“As we spent time on the jobsite investigating this category, it was clear that users were frustrated with the premature wear and tear they were seeing on their existing products,” said Bobby Shaw, director of product marketing, Milwaukee Tool. “Milwaukee’s Hammer Tacker was designed from the ground up to withstand tough conditions across a variety of usage environments including drops and harsh weather, delivering longer life and unparalleled productivity for the end user.”
The Hammer Tacker is designed for durability with a reinforced, rust-resistant, all-metal frame to protect against harsh weather and drops from tall heights.
Additionally, a metal flush drive surface can be used to seat staples without causing cracks in the housing.
The Tacker also features an integrated staple puller, jam-free magazine and overmolded non-slip grip.
