Whirlpool renews deal with Beazer Homes
Whirlpool Corp. renewed its exclusive appliance partnership with Beazer Homes to provide an array of Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Maytag brand appliances to Beazer homes throughout the United States.
“With Whirlpool Corporation’s breadth of appliance brands, we are well equipped to meet our homebuyers’ personalized kitchen lifestyle needs,” said Allan Merrill, CEO of Beazer Homes. “Renewing and expanding our relationship with Whirlpool will allow us to extend our buyers’ range of energy efficient choices within the kitchen and laundry room.”
Whirlpool Corporation describes itself as the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances, with annual sales of more than $19 billion in 2011.
Dunn Lumber stocks Maze Nails
Seattle, Wash.-based Dunn Lumber is now stocking a full line of Maze Nails, distributed by International Wood Products in all 10 Dunn stores.
Maze Nails, based in Peru, Ill., is the largest manufacturer of specialty nails in the United States. Offerings include a full line of double hot dipped galvanized and stainless steel nails for fiber cement siding, decking, fencing, cedar shingles and shakes, cedar siding, post frame building, PVC trim products and other building applications.
Tractor Supply to expand Nashville headquarters
Tractor Supply has plans to build a 250,000-sq.-ft. new building outside Nashville, Tenn., approximately a half mile from where the retail chain currently has its headquarters, according to an article in the Nashville Business Journal. The cost of the project is estimated at $50 million.
Since 2004, the company has occupied roughly 160,000 sq. ft. in two buildings in Brentwood, a suburb of Nashville. Its lease is set to expire in less than three years, according to the newspaper report.
Construction is expected to begin later this year. Tractor Supply will become one of the first anchors of a 55-acre planned office development in Brentwood.
