Versatex expands one-piece column cladding

BY HBSDEALER Staff

Pittsburgh-based Versatex Trimboard introduced a new 4-in. x 6-in. version of its labor-saving, one-piece Versawrap PVC column cladding system.

The product minimizes field cutting, eliminates mitering and increases curb appeal by ensuring aligned corners on every column, according to the company. The 4-in. x 6-in. wrap complements the 4-in. x 4-in., 6-in. x 6-in. and 8-in. x 8-in. sizes.

“The contracting community has always been enthusiastic about products that speed up the process and add value to the finished structure,” said Rick Kapres, Versatex VP sales. “Knowing that, we’ve still been surprised at the rising demand for Versawrap.”

Versatex is a division of Wolfpac Technologies.

According to an article in the Globe and Mail, the project is the brainchild of a Ukrainian immigrant who found it difficult to make all the purchases involved in his own home renovation project.

The paper further describes the project as a collection of 401 businesses in 36 categories, and set to open in 2013 in Vaughan.
