USA Insulation opens Suffern franchise
Eastlake, Ohio-based USA Insulation, self-described as the country’s largest retrofit insulation company, opened a new location in Suffern, New York.
Franchise owners David Nagy and Mark Wanamaker will serve homeowners in Rockland County, New York, and neighboring Bergen County, New Jersey. USA Insulation’s offering includes its proprietary Premium Foam Insulation.
“We look forward to working with David and Mark to further develop the USA Insulation brand in New York and New Jersey says Patrick Pitrone, USA Insulation president. “With the cold winters and hot humid summers the area experiences, and with numerous older homes, many of which have no insulation at all, USA Premium Foam Insulation will be able to help homeowners achieve greater comfort in their homes while substantially lowering their monthly energy bills.”
Prior to becoming USA Insulation franchisees, Nagy rehabbed homes and Wanamaker was a salesman and currency trader in Manhattan. “I grew up in Nyack and my family first settled here in the early 1800s,” said Wanamaker. “Dave and I have backgrounds that perfectly complement each other and we’re excited to offer a high level of home improvement professionalism and energy saving expertise that will make our customers’ homes more comfortable and most important to all of us — reduce their monthly utility bills substantially”
Rental Alliance looks ahead
The Global Rental Alliance held a mid-year meeting via webinar in mid-August with participation of all member associations.
Representatives of the seven associations shared information on membership initiatives under way and touched upon key issues impacting their membership, according to the organization.
The group is preparing for its 13th annual meeting to be held Feb. 26, 2015, at The Rental Show in New Orleans.
Consistent with their purpose to increase the profile of the industry worldwide and benefit their membership, the Global Rental Alliance representatives discussed common initiatives and program work unique to their respective associations. Australia and the United States will be participating in the International Business Leadership Program this fall, administered by the ARA Foundation. Members continue to share best practices that impact their members and maintain a focus on industry technology developments, industry research data and statistics, conference programs, communication/promotion and membership.
The Global Rental Alliance is a partnership among seven independent rental/hire organizations throughout the world, including the Brazilian Rental Association (Associação De Locadoras), Canadian Rental Association, European Rental Association, Hire Association Europe (U.K.), Hire & Rental Industry Association (Australia), Hire Industry Association of New Zealand and American Rental Association.
