On TAP: Insulation as pest control

BY HBSDEALER Staff

The founder of Pest Control Insulation Systems says the time is right for an insulation product that doubles as pest control.

The company’s Thermal Acoustic Pest (TAP) Control Insulation offers energy efficiency, while helping control cockroaches, silverfish, ants, termites and other crawling insects, said Bill Turk, co-founder and CEO of Pest Control insulation Systems, manufacturer of TAP. "TAP Insulation leads a new generation of pest management and energy efficiency and adds real value to a home," he added.

The product is made of more than 85% recycled material and uses borates, as opposed to synthetic pesticides.
