Susan Mittelbrun named VP marketing at Rinnai
Rinnai, manufacturer of tankless water heaters and home heating products, appointed Susan Mittelbrun as its new VP marketing, Rinnai America Corp.
“With extensive experience in consumer durable marketing and multi-tiered distribution networks, Susan Mittelbrun is well poised to lead our strategic marketing efforts. With responsibilities for strategic development, marketing, advertising and communications, her vast experience will help drive aggressive growth of Rinnai in the United States,” said Takashi Sonoda, president of Rinnai.
Mittelbrun began her career at General Motors’ Corporate headquarters in Detroit. Assignments at GM included sales analysis, finance, marketing, advertising, field operations and international operations. She has also held senior marketing leadership positions at GE Medical Systems in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Harrah’s Casino’s in Illinois and Missouri, and Trane heating and cooling (a Division of Ingersoll Rand Residential Solutions). Most recently, Mittelbrun led brand-marketing initiatives for multiple business units of Dal-Tile (a Division of Mohawk Industries) in Dallas.
Design & Construction Week hits Vegas
The first-ever "Design & Construction Week" kicks off today in Las Vegas, bringing builders, remodelers and contractors to the co-located International Builders’ and Kitchen and Bath Industry shows.
In a letter to attendees, the National Association of Home Builders Chairman Rick Judson pointed to the six "Centrals" of the show, areas that focus on custom building, 50+ housing, design, multi-family, remodeling and sales.
In addition to the world-class exhibit floor, extensive education programs are available in a dozen different tracks covering every aspect of home building from design to financing.
More than 1,500 exhibitors are expected to participate in the combined events that run through Thursday.
Simonton brings options to Las Vegas
