Suncraft and Stanley deliver innovative TV wall mounts

BY Steph Koyfman

Suncraft Solutions Inc. has teamed up with Stanley in the development of a new line of flat panel TV wall mounts that bring high-tech solutions to the DIY market and mark Stanley’s entry into the home entertainment sector.

The lineup includes 10 unique models, launching in July, that will harness Stanley’s brand recognition and make flat panel wall mounts more accessible to the average consumer.

"We are delivering innovation, ease of install and the trusted reliability of the Stanley brand to DIY consumers," said Michael Roach, executive VP and general manager of Suncraft Solutions. "With the Stanley brand, more consumers wil feel comfortable taking on the project, and Stanley provides the tools to do it."

In consultation with Stanely, Suncraft has made it its aim to simplify the installation process and develop innovative features such as click and release security tabs. The lineup’s premium model (TLX-350FM) features Easy Move gas shock technology that allows users to tilt, swivel, level or extend their screens up to 23 inches from the wall. Generally speaking, the wall mounts put a premium on slim profiles, with most models resting 1 inch from the wall.

The collection aims to drive down the average price point of wall-mount TVs for consumers. The suggested retail price for the TLX-350FM is under $230, with other models projected to cost as low as $40 or less for basic fixed mount solutions.

The wall mounts are compatible with LCD/LED and plasma televisions measuring between 26-100 inches and weighing up to 220 pounds.

JollyHome has introduced a new line of temperature-sensitive LED faucets for the kitchen and bathroom in an effort to respond to the safety and design preferences of consumers.

"In this day and age, the growing populations of discerning consumers are not prepared to make a concession, as they would accept nothing other than a cocktail of high-tech, practicality and fun all together," said a company statement.

The LED faucets change color on a spectrum of blue to red to reflect the water’s temperature setting.

Fluidmaster flapper line adds Mircroban

BY HBSDEALER Staff

Fluidmaster is now debuting its Universal Flapper line with Microban antimicrobial technology to help prevent toilet flapper breakdown due to bacteria.

Huntersville, N.C.-based Microban International is a leader in built-in antimicrobial technology and product protection.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with Fluidmaster and look forward to working together,” said Richard Chapman, VP marketing for Microban International. “Their history of innovation and understanding of the plumbing industry is a great fit for our antimicrobial technologies."

High moisture areas throughout the bathroom can be hot spots for the growth of microbes, such as bacteria, mold and mildew. Built in to the flappers during the manufacturing process, Microban antimicrobial technology is engineered to work continuously for the lifetime of the flapper and won’t wash off or wear away.

“We share the enthusiasm expressed by Microban International, an excellent partner for us, as we become the exclusive provider of flappers with built-in Microban product protection,” said Scott McDonald, Fluidmaster VP marketing. “Toilet flappers are a great application for Microban as homeowners and plumbers alike seek ways to help inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew to reduce degradation of microbe-impacted parts.”
