This acquisition would definitely bring positive results for the consumers; I think the concept of shopping has changed considerably; through online shopping we could now access almost all the products. In fact I recently bought Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme online.
Analyst: New-home data hits bottom, probably
A report from Global Hunter Securities describes the new-home market as "finally forming a bottom."
Based on the number of new homes available for sale, the months required to sell them and the total new homes for sale, there’s some good news, according to Global Hunter Securities: "We believe the new-home market is finally forming a bottom."
In a research paper, GHS analyst Richard Hastings wrote: "The number of new homes sold per month remains quite low by historical comparisons, at about 25,000 units per month on average (not seasonally adjusted). The number of new homes available for sales hit an all-time record low at 162,000 units in October (unadjusted). Based on our interpretation of the Census data, we believe the industry’s ability to move inventory and to balance new project commitments to market demand all point to improvements in the new-home market for sales and construction."

Home Depot extends partnership with heavy equipment rental firm
Terex, a Westport, Conn.-based construction equipment rental firm, has extended its partnership with Home Depot by adding PT-30 and PT-50 compact track loaders, TSR50 skid-steer loaders and TC16 compact excavators to its centers in 280 select Home Depot locations, according to an article in Rental Equipment Manager.
The partnership between the two firms, formed earlier this year, placed Terex equipment in the Compact Power Equipment Centers found in the Tool Rental section in 170 Home Depot locations. Top-performing units include the Home Depot flagship store in Atlanta, as well as stores in Nashville and Memphis, Tenn.; Rock Hill and Greenville, S.C.; Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas; Tampa, Fla.; and Olive Branch, Miss. Both the Memphis and Olive Branch stores are just 30 miles from the Terex Construction operations office in Southaven, Miss.
Compact Power Equipment Centers have partnered with The Home Depot to provide commercial contractors with towable rental equipment for many projects.
"We are pleased to have the Terex brand presented to customers alongside such well known, reputable brands as Compact Power Equipment Centers and The Home Depot," John Poag, director, rental, government and remarketing, Terex Construction, told the publication.
Compact Power CEO Roger Braswell added, "Our goal is to open an additional 300 Compact Power Equipment Centers in the future — our strategic relationship with Terex is very important in achieving this."
Terex Corp. is a diversified global manufacturer operating in four business segments: Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Terex Construction, Terex Cranes and Terex Materials Processing.
