A showroom aims to raise the bar

John H. Myers & Son expanded its presence in Maryland with a state of the art showroom in Ellicott City.

The Elevations Design Solutions by Myers is described by the company as the state’s “most unique kitchen and bath design showroom.”

“We’re thrilled to open Elevations and bring high-end kitchen and bath design to trade professionals and homeowners in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area,” said Bob Wood, president of John H. Myers & Son. “Elevations provides an exceptional experience, complete with design, sales and product service support.”

The 5,200 square foot showroom offers both practical models and virtual displays to help inspire customers as they design their ideal kitchen or bathroom. Backed by John H. Myers & Son, Elevations has a long list of brands, allowing customers to discover the right products for their home. The store also features a team of design experts to guide customers through their decisions.

Elevations Design Solutions by Myers is located at 8000 Locust Mill St. in Ellicott City. The company says Trade professionals are encouraged to bring their clients, and vice versa.

Myers is a division of U.S. LBM, a collection of leading building material distributors across North America with operating locations in 27 states.

Building Industry Partners is at it again

Denver, Colorado     Building Industry Partners, the building products industry-focused investment firm, has formed U.S. Fence Solutions Company in partnership with BIP Operating Partner and building industry veteran, Allan Breidenbach.

BIP and Breidenbach formed U.S. Fence Solutions to invest in Split Rail Fence & Supply Co. and build a best-in-class fencing and installation business, according to the announcement.

BIP was involved in the formation of US LBM Holdings, Kodiak Building Partners, and most recently, Homewood Holdings, in partnership with Jim Stockman and team.

 Split Rail, U.S. Fence Solutions’ inaugural investment, was founded in 1974 and today is the leading fencing supply and installation business in the Front Range of Colorado. Split Rail has over 120 employees, with locations in Littleton and Dacono, and serves the markets’ local, regional and national homebuilders, homeowner associations, multi-family and commercial builders and developers, municipalities, fencing and remodeling contractors, and homeowners. Split Rail has a legacy of more than 40 years in the Colorado community and building industry, with an estimated 100,000 plus Split Rail signs displayed on fences throughout the Front Range of Colorado. 

Allan Breidenbach becomes President of Split-Rail and CEO of parent company, U.S. Fence Solutions. Breidenbach has more than 20 years’ tenure in building products distribution, installation and retail operations, as well as years of experience as an award-winning homebuilder. Prior to joining BIP as an operating partner, Breidenbach served as VP of Wisconsin Building Supply, an 11-location operating subsidiary of U.S. LBM Holdings.

Tom Barenberg, founder of the company, will continue in Split Rail management alongside Mr. Breidenbach and as a significant shareholder.

BMC Stock opens Marvin Window wider

Atlanta-based BMC Stock Holdings announced the expansion of its supplier partnership with Marvin Windows and Doors into the Middle and South Atlantic regions of the United States, including several growing metropolitan areas across Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. 

BMC Stock will now have 34 Marvin dealer locations in 7 states.

“The expansion of our Marvin partnership allows us to greatly enhance our offering of customized window and door packages for any new home or remodeling project,” said Phil Randolph, BMC Stock Mid-Atlantic Division Vice President.  “Our sales and service professionals are excited about the opportunity to add a quality brand like Marvin to our product portfolio.”

Jeff Wedge, national director of window sales for BMC Stock, gave Marvin his seal of approval, saying the products look great and perform well in any home or building. “Being able to offer customers a wide range of Marvin products, including custom wood windows, clad-wood windows and doors and high-performance Integrity Window and Door products made with Ultrex differentiates BMC Stock from the other professional lumber and building supply companies in the region,” he said.

BMC Stock says it is dedicated to employing highly knowledgeable window and door specialists and has been an integral supply chain partner in Marvin’s dealer network for many years.
