Paige Wittman promoted to VP sales at Andersen
Andersen Corporation has promoted Paige Wittman, previously director of sales for the East Division, to VP sales.
In her newly created role, Wittman will oversee nationwide sales for all Andersen window and door operations.
“Paige brings energy and enthusiasm to this new role along with her drive for results,” said Andersen chief sales and marketing officer Sal Abbate. “She has been a big part of our Northeast success this year and I look forward to expanding her leadership across our entire dealer network.”
In her time at Andersen, Wittman has helped develop the Accessories business unit and managed sales and strategic accounts, as well as the Western Division. Additionally, she helped roll out the successful Andersen 100 Series, created a new business planning process for dealers, drove local promotions and transitioned the New England market from distributor Brockway-Smith.
Previous to her tenure at Andersen, Wittman worked as director of retail & dealer development at Polaris Industries.
Osram Americas appoints Jes Munk Hansen as CEO
Munich, Germany-based Osram has appointed Jes Munk Hansen as the new CEO of its Americas business, as well as president and CEO of Osram Sylvania, effective Oct. 16. He replaces Rick Leaman, who has left to pursue other interests.
"Jes Munk Hansen is the ideal choice to lead Osram’s Americas business," said Wolfgang Dehen, CEO of parent company Osram Licht AG. "His many years of experience of introducing new energy efficient products and profound understanding of the American market are a powerful combination. His appointment will further strengthen our leadership position at a time where new regulatory standards and new technologies are redefining our industry."
Hansen will be responsible for all Osram operations in North, Middle and South America, primarily in the capacity of transitioning the business to energy-efficient LED-based lighting products.
He brings 13 years of experience serving in leadership roles at Grundfos, where he was recently CEO and president of Grundfos North America. Under his watch, the company experienced robust growth, and he has a track record for innovation in sustainability and energy-efficiency.

James Robisch slated to speak at 2013 ProDealer Industry Summit
James Robisch, who leads market research and strategy consulting firm Farnsworth Group as senior partner, will speak at this year’s ProDealer Industry Summit in Nashville, Tenn.
Robisch, who specializes in the home improvement and building supply industry, directs dealer/retailer and wholesale service activities for Farnsworth. This includes anything ranging from market intelligence to branding, customer retention and strategic planning.
He has also been with the Home Center Institute and National Retail Hardware Association for more than 12 years, most notably as director of research services and director of retail marketing. He has also served as executive director of the Do-It-Yourself Research Institute, now known as the Home Improvement Research Institute.
The ProDealer Industry Summit, which is hosted jointly by HCN and the NLBMDA, will take place in Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 23-25 and will provide educational and networking opportunities for dealers, distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers.
