New Rent-A-Center location opens in New Jersey

Rent-A-Center had announced the opening of a new store in Dover, N.J.

"We’re very excited to have been given the opportunity to open a new store here in Dover,” said manager Edgar Carballo. “Our team is looking forward to meeting and serving the people of this community.”

The new Rent-A-Center is located at 14-16 Basset Highway. The grand opening celebration is being held today, Aug, 2 at 11:00 a.m. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Rent-A-Center is contributing $1,000 to The Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs. 

In conjunction with the grand opening ceremony, the store will also hold a drawing for a 51-in. plasma TV. 

Rent-A-Center operates 46 locations in New Jersey. The Dover location is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

At Amerhart, a new national accounts manager

Green Bay, Wis.-based building products distributor Amerhart announced the hiring of a new national accounts manager — Jeff Verboncouer. 

Verboncouer, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, will take over the role responsible for all national and regional accounts served by Amerhart. 

Amerhart has distribution facilities in Wisconsin, illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. It distributes a broad range of building materials to pro dealers, big-box retailers and industrial accounts.
