Jenn-Air expands 3-D rendering capabilities for interior designers
Jenn-Air has partnered with 20-20 Technologies, a maker of 3-D interior design and manufacturing software, to extend the capacity for interior designers to incorporate Jenn-Air appliances in their 3-D renderings.
Users of 20-20 Technologies can now select products from Jenn-Air’s appliance line to plan and conceptualize kitchens with realistic 3-D drawings.
"Successfully executing a project requires the ability to clearly communicate the design concept to clients," said kitchen and bath specialist Morton Block CMKBD, IIDA, CAPS. "Having the ability to incorporate a wide range of high-end appliances into a kitchen rendering in such a vivid way is a great planning tool that helps clients envision the final results."
Products ranging from Jenn-Air’s Pro-Style ranges to its built-in refrigerators are included in the Jenn-Air 20-20 catalog.
Eco Red Shield selected in New Jersey Sandy rebuild
Eco Red Shield protected lumber has been selected as the lumber of choice in the construction of new modular homes for New Jersey’s Hurricane Sandy rebuild.
According to parent company Eco Building Products, a total of 75 modular homes by Statewide Custom Modular Homes are under contract to be constructed using Eco Red Shield; seven of which have aleady been ordered by Statewide president Bruce Goodstein.
"Being that this is a rebuild, and perception is 9/10 of the law, Bruce and his team knew that to remain the leader in their market, they had to raise the bar and provide a superior product for their clients," said Steve Conboy, president and CEO of Eco Building Products. "Recent Web-based articles are circulating that highlight the fire dangers associated with modular homes and light-gauge construction. Bruce Goodstein and Statewide Homes have decided to switch to Eco Red Shield at all costs to ensure his modular homes are not included in that discussion."
Conboy added that Statewide’s Virginia-based producer, Nationwide Homes, will be working closely with Eco’s affiliate in Virginia in the creation of the new channel opportunity. It is expected that all of Statewide’s future modular homes will eventually be constructed with Eco Red Shield, Conboy said.
Cool Minder introduces fan reverser for tractors
Designed to keep utility vehicle radiators free of dust and debris, the ProManPTO Cool Minder fan reverser for the John Deere Gator has brand-specific connectors allowing for easy use.
When the thermostat starts the Gator’s cooling fan, Cool Minder automatically reverses the fan’s direction for several seconds to blow out debris and dust build-up on the radiator. Then the program winds the fan down to a stop and reverses the fan to continue through its normal cooling cycle for a number of minutes.
Other brand-specific Cool Minder fan reversers are available currently for the majority of Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki ATVs and UTVs. They will be available for other brands and mowers "soon," the company said.
