Homeowners are worried (rightly) over project costs
Two-thirds of homeowners have concerns about over-paying on a home project, according to survey data released from Home Advisor, an online contractor listing service.
The company also released a list of 10 popular “true costs” of projects stats. These 10 projects range in price from “Remodel a bathroom,” $9,000; to “Clean a septic tank,” $450.

DeWalt launches new tool sets for mechanics
DeWalt is ratcheting up its offerings for mechanics with the introduction of new tool and accessory sets for professionals.
The new Mechanics Tool Sets feature sockets, ratchets, drivers and wrenches with updated designs, including a 72-Tooth Ratchet for triple the life cycle. They're available in a 168-piece set, 142-piece set and 108-piece set.
The Mechanics Accessory Tool Sets are made for on-the-go use, sliding into individual trays that clip together to form a Tough Lock Stacking System. This also gives mechanics the flexibility to bring only the tools they need for the job at hand.
What's more, DeWalt is offering customers the ability to quickly replace any faulty parts.
"We are so confident in the performance of each piece of the new Mechanics Tool Sets that we are offering a 24-hour replacement program," said senior product manager Rob Ronan.
