New VP for Sierra Pacific

BY HBSDealer Staff

Anderson, California-based Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) hired Tom Takach as VP of operations for the windows division of Sierra Pacific Industries – a family owned and operated wood products business.

In this new position, Takach will oversee manufacturing and operations for Sierra Pacific’s Red Bluff, California Windows Plant as well as the two newly acquired Hurd and Superseal Window and Door plants in Wisconsin.

Takach joins SP Windows with over 21 years of experience in the window and door industry – much of which was earned with Jeld-Wen, one of the largest producers of windows and doors in the United States.

“We are pleased that Tom has joined Sierra Pacific at a time when we are expanding our sales and manufacturing capabilities” said Kendall Pierson, president of Sierra Pacific Windows. “His background and experience have prepared him for managing the increases in sales and production we expect at our Red Bluff and Hurd facilities,” Pierson added.
