Greg Sandfort named to NRF board
Tractor Supply CEO Greg Sandfort is one of six new executives on the National Retail Federation board of directors.
In addition to Sandfort, the group includes Walmart CEO Bill Simon, Beall’s CEO Steve Knopik, J.C. Penney CEO Myron Ullman, SAP senior VP Lori Mitchell-Kell, and Utah Retail Merchants Association president Dave Davis.
The retailers were elected to the board Sunday, the opening day of NRF’s 103rd Annual Convention and EXPO. They will serve three-year terms.
“These executives are among the top thought leaders in the world of retail and will only strengthen an already diverse and well-respected board,” said NRF president and CEO Matthew Shay. “Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we address the many issues facing retailers at a time when our industry is rapidly changing."
