Allied Building Products completes three acquisitions
Allied Building Products Corp. has recently completed three acquisitions: Ivan Supply Co.; the Smyrna, Ga., branch of American Wholesale; and Pacific Source.
Philadelphia-based Ivan Supply Co. is a privately held, four-branch distributor of roofing and siding. It was founded in 1981 by Ivan Tancredi.
“Ivan Supply employees are some of the best in the industry, which makes the acquisition by Allied such a natural fit,” Tancredi said. “Two great companies with well-educated employees all focused on one goal: helping our customers succeed.”
American Wholesale, a residential siding staple in the Southeast, was founded in 1991 by Terry Ferrero. The Smyrna location will be managed by John Baumgartner.
Pacific Source, which serves Hawaii, is a privately held building materials distributor based out of Snohomish, Wash. The company was founded in 1992 by five owners: Kim Halverson, Rob Bruce, Carol Kinison, Mark Mason and Doug Martin.
"We are excited to be a part of the Allied Team and are confident that the Hawaii community will be better served as a result of the acquisition," Mason said.
With branch operations on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kauai and Maui, Pacific Source provides building materials to homeowners in Hawaii.
