DAP launches new online resources for SmartBond adhesive
In an effort to help customers understand its new construction adhesive product, DAP has set a number of new resources live on the SmartBond website.
Visitors to the site will be able to take advantage of the SmartBond Coverage Calculator, which gives uses an estimate of how much product is needed for their job, as well as how many traditional adhesive cartridges would be required for the same job.
Other resources include product demonstration videos, mobile Home Depot locator, detailed product information and a Spanish-language version of the site.
SmartBond is a construction adhesive that provides eight times the coverage in one 20-oz. can as a standard 28-oz. cartridge, as proven by the NAHB Research Center. It can also be applied up to 25% faster than a 10-oz. cartridge adhesive — it takes 20 seconds to start using a new can, compared with two minutes or more to change a traditional cartridge.
Customers can choose between three product varieties for Subfloor, Heavy Duty and Landscape. DAP touts the collapsible foam as an industry first.
