Dennis Lacey appointed SVP finance at RGS Energy
RGS Energy, a Louisville, Colo.-based manufacturer of solar energy products, has named Dennis Lacey SVP finance.
In his new role, Lacey will be responsible for implementing and managing the company’s residential lease financing program.
"We welcome Dennis’ deep knowledge and executive experience in public and private equipment lease finance companies," said Kam Mofid, CEO. "He is an ideal executive for developing our residential solar leasing program having been the CEO of a publicly traded leasing company and having started the leasing division for a NYSE listed bank."
Lacey has over 25 years of executive financial management experience, having previously held similar positions at Imperial Bancorp, Capital Associates, TeleTech and CKE Restaurants. He was also once an audit partner at Coopers & Lybrand.
PPG partners with The Coatings Alliance
PPG Industries has taken a minority equity position in The Coatings Alliance, LLC via its North American architectural coatings business.
Under the terms of the deal, PPG will become the exclusive paint manufacturer for The Coatings Alliance, producing the TCA-owned C2 Paint brand. PPG will also act as an independent sales representative for C2 Paint to independent paint and decorating retailers throughout North America.
“TCA’s C2 Paint is an exclusive, dealer-owned brand that will provide our existing network of independent retailers with another premium product option," said Scott Sinetar, VP architectural coatings, North America for PPG. "PPG’s position in TCA also continues to expand our distribution reach in North America and demonstrates our strategic interest and commitment to the independent dealer channel."
TCA CEO Tom Hill added that the partnership will expand the company’s reach into PPG’s extensive global network, as well as facilitate greater investment in research and development, marketing and distribution.
The Coatings Alliance is a Buffalo, N.Y.-based cooperative of 42 paint dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
New Jenn-Air refrigerator features luxe black interior
Jenn-Air has released three new refrigerators — which go by the name of Obsidian — featuring an unusual black interior
"Black lends a very flattering and sophisticated look to this collection and gives everything within the refrigerator more prominence and visual pop," notes Juliet Johnson, manager of brand experience for Jenn-Air. "The dramatic interior shade extends the elegant design of our products from outside to inside the appliance, and puts food on display in an impressive, pristine way."
The Obsidian collection includes a 36" Built-In 2-Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator/Freezer model, along with 36" and 42" Fully-Integrated French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator/Freezer models.
All three models are panel ready and include an articulated hinge for a flush appearance. They also come with the option for stainless steel doors in a Euro-Style and commercial-like Pro-Style.
Other features include multi-point LED lighting throughout the cabinet, soft-close drawers and a TwinFresh climate control system that uses dual evaporators.
Jenn-Air will be replacing a total of 50 new SKUs in 2014. The new refrigerators are slated to hit shelves this October.
