California Faucets has hired Steven Weinberg, the former president of the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA), as its new national sales manager. Weinberg will be based on the East Coast, giving the Southern California-based company a bi-coastal presence, the announcement said.

Weinberg served as the president of DPHA since 2010. Prior to that, he owned The Glassmith Shop in Summit, N.J., a high-end decorative plumbing and hardware showroom and one of the earliest innovators of frameless shower enclosures.

Based in Huntington Beach, Calif., California Faucets was founded in 1988. The company offers more than 25 styles and 34 decorative finishes. California Faucets also offers Thermostatic Shower Systems, tub and shower sets, trim and bathroom accessories. CertainTeed expands colors for EverNew decking

BY HBSDealer Staff

Valley Forge, Pa.-based CertainTeed added two new shades to its EverNew PT Decking collection: Castle Gray and Tudor Brown.

The new colors join an existing palette of Bronze, Slate, Ipe Tropics and Rosewood Tropics.

“EverNew PT Decking is an ultra-low maintenance decking product that is durable and long-lasting,” said Patti Pellock, senior marketing manager for CertainTeed’s Fence, Railing and Deck division. “Available in natural looking, wood grain embossed patterns, as well as tropical colors with exotic, hardwood tones, it is a valuable component of dynamic outdoor living spaces.”

EverNew PT composite decking consists of a high-density polyethylene core and features patent-pending PermaTech surface technology from Fiberon that encapsulates the core and provides for unparalleled stain, fade and scratch resistance. The decking is designed for strength, durability and rigidity and is resistant to termites, splinters and decay. It’s backed by a 20-year performance warranty and a 20-year stain and fade warranty.

EverNew PT Decking is a low-maintenance product; occasional washing with a standard garden hose will remove dirt and grime, and leave decking looking like new.

I would give it a try simply
I would give it a try simply because they offer a 20 years warranty and because the decks would be termites resistant. I had my old decking ruined by these insects and probably they would have ruined my home too if it weren't for terminixpestcontroloffers.com and I don't want to face such destruction again.
