Brizo draws on chess pieces for new bath design
Brizo is leveraging chess pieces for design inspiration with the launch of its new Rook collection of bath faucets, fittings and accessories.
Rook is characterized by a low spout architecture and crisp, octagonal details, featuring a variety of single-handle and widespread lavatory faucets with channel or closed spouts, a channel spout vessel lavatory as well as cross or lever handles on all two-handle products.
"The blocked shape of the collection was a result of its design inspiration: a rook chess piece," said Seth Fritz, Brizo product designer. "We wanted to focus on the intersection of old and new. This faucet has a touch of modern with a hint of masculinity, along with elements of classic and traditional design."
Rook also includes a Roman tub faucet and freestanding tub filler that are available with a channel spout.
There's also an optional SmartTouchPlus Technology, available on the single-handle closed spout lavatory faucet, for touch-sensitive and hands-free operation.
Other products in the collection include a bidet, shower and tub trims, showerheads, tub spouts, towel bars, tissue paper holders, robe hooks, universal tank lever, and drawer knobs and pulls.
