Bostik rebrands itself
In the midst of its ongoing brand makeover, Bostik has been operating under a new visual identity since mid-November, featuring "Smart Adhesives" as its new tagline and a gecko in its logo.
According to the company, the new tagline aims to strengthen its position as a developer of innovative, efficient adhesive solutions.
With its reputation for superior bonding abilities that allow it to cling to various surfaces, the gecko reinforces this message.
"The new logo reflects who we are," said Bernard Pinatel, chairman and CEO. "The Bostik name will become synonymous with smart adhesives. We apply innovative adhesive technology to address pressing economic, ecological and demographic issues, and our advances in material science will contribute to a more sustainable world."
BrassCraft hires new territory sales manager
Novi, Mich.-based BrassCraft Manufacturing, a Masco Company involved in the manufacture of plumbing products, has hired Roger Hernandez as territory sales manager for Ohio and Kentucky.
"We’re delighted to have Roger on our team," said Ken Kemmerling, sales manager, Central Region. "We’re confident that his depth of sales experience will greatly contribute to enhancing customer service and to growing our business in this territory."
"I’m excited for the opportunity to cultivate and grow customer relationships," said Hernandez. "I’m also very proud to work for an American-based manufacturer and industry leader."
In this newly created role, Hernandez will drive sales and build customer relationships with wholesalers and contractors in the region.
Hernandez has more than 10 years of sales experience under his belt, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Toledo.
At ENAP, a mission in focus
As the New Windsor, N.Y.-based LBM co-op enters its 47th year, ENAP is promoting its streamlined mission statement.
Here it is: "ENAP’s mission is to create a competitive advantage for our members by leveraging their collective power.”
President and CEO Stephen J. Sallah exlained that the mission statement is crucial to existing dealers as well as continuing with expansion efforts.
“We are fast approaching fifty years as an LBM Co-op and are focused on where the independent lumber dealer will be next year and beyond,” Sallah said. “We are committed to adapt our operations and marshal our resources to ensure ENAP dealers have the best possible advantages. The industry is changing and the way dealers compete is changing and it is imperative that ENAP continues to provide the critical role of leverage and buying power to help our members grow profitably.”
