Ben Moore asks: Who are you talking to?
In its latest campaign of ad spots, paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore is celebrating independent retailers with a dose of wit on the side.
In the series, customers approach two big-box sales associate dummies with their paint-related questions, and nonsense ensues.
The question is posed: "If you're not talking to your authorized Benjamin Moore retailer, who are you talking to?"
Blanco’s new faucets crank the water-savings figures
German sink and faucet manufacturer Blanco has released a new collection of faucets that offer considerably more water savings.
The new Merdian and Sonoma faucets boast a 1.5 GPM flow rate, offering 32% more water savings compared with standard 2.2 GPM faucets.
They also exceed CalGreen requirements (California's Green Building Standards Code).
"Our latest collection of faucets offer livable style," stated Tim Maicher, director of marketing. "When we say livable style, we are referencing style that leads trends while integrating into any kitchen design. At the same time, we are talking about the faucets' functionality. Faucets are the jewelry of the kitchen. They must be attractive, but they are also the most abused fixtures in the kitchen. That's why we engineer Blanco faucets to last, to use less water, to provide unmatched cleaning and to be as easy to use as they are to maintain."
The Meridian faucet is characterized by an iconic chef's look design and solid brass body construction.
The Sonoma boasts clean lines and an ergonomic pull-down spray.
EPA announces its Indoor airPLUS Leader builders
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named its annual list of Indoor airPLUS Leaders.
The honors go toward home builders that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to home construction with improved indoor air quality.
KB Home was this year's Corporate Builder Winner, but a number of smaller, more regional players got recognition as well.
Among them are Fulton Homes, Mandalay Communities, Schell Brothers, C&B Construction, Charles Thomas Homes, Habitat for Humanity – St. Louis and Kettler Forlines.
“We’re proud to announce the 2015 Indoor airPLUS Leader Award winners and to congratulate winners like KB Home for raising the bar on indoor air quality in new homes,” said David Rowson, director of EPA’s Indoor Environments Division. “These builders are not only creating healthier indoor environments for homeowners, but they are also leading the broader housing market toward safer, healthier housing by raising consumer awareness about the importance of indoor air quality. Their recognition is well-deserved.”
