All Star Performance: Ala., Alaska and Ark.

By HBSDealer Staff - 07/06/2020

This year marks the 10th time in 10 years that HBSDealer recognized high-performing and community-centric retailers for their All Star performance – one retailer from each of the fifty states. For the first time, this year’s constellation of stars were selected from the list of previous winners, a list deserving of the “Superstar” label.

The full list of STIHL Hardware All Stars can be found here in the May digital issue of HBSDealer. And below is some highlights for honorees from Alabama, Alaska and Arkansas.

All star: Marvin's
Location: Birmingham, Ala.
Skinny: Local market knowledge fuels an impressive track record of growth since 1945. Today, as part of the CNRG family, the retailer operates 28 home centers in five southern states.

All star: Andy's Ace Hardware
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Skinny: An authorized STIHL and Honda dealer, Andy's Ace was founded by Andy Anderson in 1959. The clean, bright, open shopping environment is known for offering the hard-to-find products. Andy died in 1984, but the tradition of serving the community lives on with his descendants.

All star: Whit Davis Lumber Plus
