Newell Rubbermaid, whose brands include Irwin Tools and Lenox, has agreed to acquire Baby Jogger Holdings, Inc. from global private equity firm The Riverside Company for a price tag of $210 million.

Richmond, Virginia-based Baby Jogger is best-known for its activity strollers, though the company produces various infant and juvenile products geared toward active parents. It's expected to net approximately $90 million in sales in 2014.

Stanley Black & Decker is donating more than $120,000 worth of tools and equipment to four new ToolBanks this month, organizations that provide tools to nonprofits and volunteers and help them cut costs.

The donation will go toward building up an initial inventory of tools to be put to use in various community improvement projects in the four new locations: Houston, Portland, Oregon; Phoenix; and Richmond, Virginia.

Federal authorities came to Lumber Liquidators' corporate offices in Toano and Richmond, Va., on Thursday with sealed search warrants related to questions over the importation of its wood flooring products.

The Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement, together with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, were involved in the search, though no further information is being released at this time.

Oklahoma City-based Cedar Creek is expanding into the Mid-Atlantic with a new location in Richmond, Va., describing the market as a high-growth area.

“This expansion is further evidence of our commitment to growing the footprint of Cedar Creek and opening new markets,” said Bill Adams, CEO of Cedar Creek. “We view this as a great opportunity to increase our presence outside of our traditional mid-South markets and enter what’s forecasted to be one of the best growth areas in the country.”

A moving-truck rental deal with Penske Truck Rental has been expanded from its original pilot program in Richmond, Va., to include five Miami, Fla.-area Home Depot stores, according to a report from Dow Jones.

The Atlanta-based retailer has made no announcement regarding the potential roll-out of the pilot program to more stores.
