By August 2012, U.S. businesses that sponsor fully insured group health plans could share millions of dollars in rebates from health insurers who spent more on administrative expenses and profits than allowed by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), finds an analysis from the not-for-profit Kaiser Family Foundation.

Young America, an incentive marketing firm, has partnered with EcoRebates, a Web and mobile rebate solutions provider, to create an online tool that compiles utility energy rebates with available manufacturer or retailer-specific offers. Customers can easily find, apply and submit the incentive offers on a wide range of products.

At the 2011 Do it Best Fall Market in Indianapolis, the co-op distributed $105.8 million in combined rebates to member dealers. It was the eighth straight year that the distribution exceeded $100 million.

Fort Worth, Texas-based eCommerce Industries has announced that Ace Hardware has given its final certification to ECi’s RockSolid POS business system software for integration with the Ace Rewards program. Ace Rewards is a retail incentive program that awards points based on dollars spent and provides members advanced notice of sales, members-only coupons and allows them to submit rebates online.

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Do it Best Corp. reported net sales of $2.33 billion for the year ended June 25, 2011, an increase of 1.4% over the previous fiscal year.

Other data from the company's income statement showed gross profit for fiscal 2011 of $176.8 million, up 3.4% from $171 million last year.

The Do it Best October Market will return to Indianapolis Oct. 8 to 10, with some things remaining the same, and some things changing.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest differences. Then again, sometimes it’s the big things.

The Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Do it Best Corp., fresh from its October Market in Indianapolis, is advancing a slate of initiatives both large and small. Projects range from reprinting its field staff’s business cards to building what it calls a digital World Class Commerce Center. And as CEO Bob Taylor sees it, they are all in service of one overarching goal: serving the members. 

Let’s start with the big plans first.

York, Pa.-based Wolf announced a rebate program on Deckorators CXT Railing. 

During the “Go Pro CXT Railing Rebate,” contractors will receive a $100 Visa card for every $500 they spend on CXT Railing. Purchases must be made by Sept. 30.

CXT Railing is available exclusively from independent dealers in Wolf's service area of 18 East Coast states.

New London, N.C.-based Fiberon announced a new incentive for deck builders to join the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA). 

Throughout 2011, deck builders who sign up as a FiberPRO and make a Fiberon purchase through its Deck Dollars Rebate Program will receive 50% reimbursement of their annual NADRA membership dues.

Decra Roofing Systems and Lakewood, Colo.-based HomeSphere entered a joint agreement to offer Decra stone coated steel roofing products to builders using the HomeSphere network.

Decra joins more than 75 manufacturing brands currently using HomeSphere’s BRI lead generation and marketing program to produce new builder leads and strengthen existing business.
