Arlington, Massachusetts-based ZipWall introduced ZipFast Reusable Barrier Panels for use with its spring-loaded poles and accessories.

Machine-washable ZipFast panels are made of tough opaque nylon and feature sewn-in, heavy-duty zippers. Described as a “greener alternative to disposable plastic sheeting,” ZipFast panels require no measuring or cutting, so they easily zip together, allowing the construction of a dust barrier up to 12 ft. high and as wide as needed.

Springfield, Massachusetts-based Rocky's Ace Hardware is getting ready for its fourth annual holiday pet food drive.

All 32 Rocky's Ace Hardware stores have partnered with their local Humane Society or Shelter to collect food for homeless and abandoned pets in their communities. The collection areas will be marked with signs and baskets.

WOLF announced it will move its New England distribution hub from its current location in Worcester, Massachusetts, to a 100,000-sq.-ft. site in Northborough. The move to a larger distribution center will boost WOLF’s ability to serve kitchen and bath and building products to dealers in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and upstate New York, the company said.

WOLF took full occupancy of the new site on Sept. 22 and will close its current facility, which the company has outgrown since it opened in January 2011.

Massachusetts-based lighting company Osram Sylvania announced that it would be expanding it’s lineup of LED light bulbs. This month, Lowe’s will start stocking the seven new bulbs.

Among the company’s new LED bulb offerings are the ones meant to replace 40- and 60-watt incandescent bulbs. The 60-watt LED bulb puts out the same amount of light as a 60-watt incandescent with 8.5 watts of electricity.

The makers of the MusselBound Adhesive Tile Mat announced the product is now at Lowe’s stores nationwide. 

The product, from Brewster, Massachusetts-based MusselBound, is for the contractor or DIY customer working on backsplash, countertop and shower wall projects. It’s described as an easily applied adhesive that can be affixed directly to drywall, cement board, plywood, old tile and existing laminate.

Southbridge, Mass.-based Hyde Tools introduced a product designed to reduce the painter's time on preparation and painting. 

The Hyde Painter's Assistant is a multi-use painter's tool that acts sort of like an extra pair of hands. Thecarrying handle for one and two quarter containers includes a magnetic bursh holder. 

Also built in are a paint can opener, brush and roller cleaner, belt hook, putty knife/scraper and a garage tool hanger.
