Evanston Lumber, serving the Chicagoland market along with the North Shore, has a tool in its workbelt when it comes to meeting the needs of homeowners, contractors, and architects in the area.

The Evanston, Illinois-based prodealer operates the Marvin Design Gallery by Evanston Lumber. The showroom is located about 30 miles north of downtown Chicago in Lake Bluff, Illinois.

The Marvin Design Gallery combines decades of experience and excellence in customer service, Evanston Lumber says. A team at the showroom “works tirelessly to provide the ultimate customer experience,” the dealer says.

“From start to finish, our team is with you through every step of your project and beyond. We stand behind our products and offer a Marvin-certified service department to help resolve any concerns.”

The 7,000-square-foot showroom received a complete renovation in 2020 and is the largest Marvin design space in the market.

Evanston Lumber describes the showroom as “the perfect place for homeowners, architects, and contractors to select products and meet with our expert Marvin salespeople.”

Including outside sales personnel and design experts, the showroom has about 20 team members taking part in the process.

“We want to be a resource for builders, architects, and homeowners who are interested in high-quality windows and doors,” said Rob Mortell, director of marketing for the Marvin Design Gallery.

“Our showroom lets homeowners touch, feel, and view the products before they are installed in their home,” Mortell added.

Evanston Lumber Company was founded in 1948 by Eli Fisher, the grandfather of current Owner and President, Bob Fisher.
