Menards plans a store in Vienna Township, Mich., on the outskirts of the city of Flint, according to a report in the Flint Journal.
The store is slated to open in June, and construction on the approximately $20 million building is complete. The project is part of a 90-acre retail development anchored by a Super Wal-Mart, according to the report.
The Menards store encompasses 200,000 square feet and includes a main building, a garden center and warehouse.
The Eau Claire, Wis.-based company most recently opened a location in the state in the town of Ionia, Mich., located east of Grand Rapids.
Menards has about 210 stores in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
