84 Lumber, the country’s fifth-largest LBM dealer with more than 250 locations, has named Weyerhaeuser as its Vendor Partner of the Year, the forest product giant announced.
The award recognizes sales growth, consistent service and value-added support.
Among 84’s vendor partners, Weyerhaeuser achieved the largest sales volume and sales dollars year to date, with an 83% increase over 2012, the company said. The pro dealer recognized Weyerhaeuser as “a great strategic partner,” noting in particular its ability to maintain a consistent flow of wood products from its mills at a time when some in the industry are experiencing supply constraints. Weyerhaeuser also has been a consistently reliable source for a variety of commodities and specialty building products through its national network of distribution centers.

Weyerhaeuser, one of the world’s largest forest products companies, began operations in 1900.
