Tractor Supply, the Brentwood, Tenn.-based farm and ranch chain, has appointed John D. Wendler as senior vp-marketing. He will oversee marketing activities for the company and report directly to Jim Wright, chairman, president and CEO.
Wendler has more than 30 years of marketing experience. Most recently, he worked at Express, a subsidiary of Limited Brands, where he was executive vp-marketing. He has also held positions at Saks, Fruit-of-the-Loom, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Wilson Sporting Goods and General Mills. Wendler received an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.

Additionally, we believe his expertise in implementing customer relationship management initiatives, customer loyalty programs and private label brand strategies will be instrumental,” Wright said.
