A woman suspected of stealing two faucets from a Home Depot in Glastonbury, Conn. was found in a nearby home hiding under a pile of dirty laundry, according to an article in the Hartford Advocate.
U.S. Marshalls arrested a 23-year-old female after the alleged shoplifting incident, where a police officer tried to apprehend the woman after she left the scene in a car, crashed it, and then fled on foot. Her boyfriend soon showed up in another car, according to police, and drove his vehicle at a police officer. The boyfriend was shot in the wrist.
A multi-agency team later located the woman in a home in Bloomfield. She has been charged with three counts of violation of probation and three counts of failure to appear in court.
