Suncraft Solutions Inc. has teamed up with Stanley in the development of a new line of flat panel TV wall mounts that bring high-tech solutions to the DIY market and mark Stanley's entry into the home entertainment sector.
The lineup includes 10 unique models, launching in July, that will harness Stanley's brand recognition and make flat panel wall mounts more accessible to the average consumer.
"We are delivering innovation, ease of install and the trusted reliability of the Stanley brand to DIY consumers," said Michael Roach, executive VP and general manager of Suncraft Solutions. "With the Stanley brand, more consumers wil feel comfortable taking on the project, and Stanley provides the tools to do it."
In consultation with Stanely, Suncraft has made it its aim to simplify the installation process and develop innovative features such as click and release security tabs. The lineup's premium model (TLX-350FM) features Easy Move gas shock technology that allows users to tilt, swivel, level or extend their screens up to 23 inches from the wall. Generally speaking, the wall mounts put a premium on slim profiles, with most models resting 1 inch from the wall.
The collection aims to drive down the average price point of wall-mount TVs for consumers. The suggested retail price for the TLX-350FM is under $230, with other models projected to cost as low as $40 or less for basic fixed mount solutions.
The wall mounts are compatible with LCD/LED and plasma televisions measuring between 26-100 inches and weighing up to 220 pounds.
