A new trade event called the First Look Housewares Show will debut early next year at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Produced by Cappiello Management, the three-day event, scheduled for Jan. 8 to 10, will emphasize new products in a format designed to allow retailers to get through the floor in a day and a half. Booth sizes will be limited to a maximum of 400 square feet per exhibitor.
“The purpose of the First Look Housewares Show is to start the process of new product evaluation so that deals can be concluded at the larger shows later in the spring,” said Rob Cappiello, formerly with the National Hardware Show and Reed Exhibitions. Cappiello is also the former publisher of Home Channel News.
