Orchard Supply Hardware has named retail veteran Mark Baker as its new president and CEO. Baker will replace Robert Lynch, who left last December to take a job as president and chief operating officer at Lumber Liquidators.
Before joining Orchard Supply Hardware, Baker served as president and chief operating officer for Scotts Miracle-Gro. Previously, Baker served in a variety of senior roles at Home Depot during his seven years there, including executive VP merchandising. In addition, he was CEO of the Gander Mountain Co., an outdoor retailer, and has held senior leadership roles at Scotty's Inc. and Homebase, Inc.
Orchard Supply Hardware is an 89-unit chain of home improvement stores and garden centers throughout California.
